Who
typically uses A Well Balanced Body’s
services
and
products?
A Well-Balanced Body
works with anyone, male or female, who wishes to make
lifestyle changes that will further improve and/or
optimize their health and well-being.
You may also need to support these changes through the use of recommended
whole-food supplements, digestive enzymes,
homeopathics, and/or herbal adaptogens.
A
Well-Balanced Body
also regularly works with clients who are suffering
from chronic symptoms, the source of which cannot be
identified through routine labs tests. The results of
their tests often show levels within normal range yet
their symptoms persist.
A
Well-Balanced Body
focuses on working in cooperation with your Medical
Doctor (M.D.) or primary healthcare provider to help
you achieve optimal wellness.
Our emphasis is on prevention of disease and patient
education.
I am
currently under the care of a medical doctor. Am I
still eligible to work with A Well Balanced Body?

What can
I expect to occur at my first consultation?
Once
you have made an appointment for your first
consultation, you will be asked to complete and bring
with you a detailed health history, including a list
of all medications and supplements you are currently
taking. During the consultation, you will discuss your
health priorities and the direction of your treatment
will be determined. You will leave the appointment
with a
Symptom
Survey Form and a two-week diet
diary, both of which you will complete and mail back
to the office. Once we receive these forms, we will
contact you to schedule a follow up appointment.
In
working with
A Well-Balanced Body, you will be expected to
participate in your health care. This could include
significant lifestyle changes.
A Well-Balanced Body
often recommends clients begin their journey towards
better health with detoxification, namely the
Purification Program (developed by
Standard Process).
Following that, a diet tailored especially to your
needs– your personalized Diet Design – may be created
for you. Regular, appropriate exercise may also be
encouraged.
What if I
am unable to attend an in-office visit or live outside
of the area that A Well Balanced Body services?
If
you are unable to attend in-office visits due to, for
instance, distance or your work and family schedule,
A Well-Balanced Body may agree to
work with you remotely if appropriate. If you are
interested in this option, you should first
contact us
by
calling the office. You will then fill out the
Symptom Survey Form
online.
Once the Symptom Survey Form has been completed and it
has been reviewed, a 15-30 minute phone consultation
will be scheduled. During this call you will discuss
your health goals and prioritize the treatments and
supplements that will be most beneficial for you. The
next steps for following up on your progress will then
be discussed and agreed upon.
What
types of testing does A Well Balanced Body utilize?
When and why are they prescribed?
In
addition to the
Symptom Survey
Form,
Dr. Meri Warbrick may suggest one or more types of
testing that will help her better assess the current
state of your health and inform the direction that she
will ultimately suggest you take. In most cases, the
next crucial step will be a
Hair Analysis.
This test highlights the source of many symptoms the
client noted on their
Symptom Survey Form,
and for that reason, this is often the most
cost-effective way to establish whether further
testing is warranted; and if so, in which direction it
should be focused.
A
Well-Balanced Body
also uses
Saliva Testing
for a wide-variety of symptoms. This may be necessary
when the
Hair
Analysis
reveals,
for example, the client has heavy metal toxicity;
complex digestive issues, such as gluten intolerance;
estrogen dominance, or other hormone imbalances.
Additionally,
A Well-Balanced Body offers Digital
Thermal Imaging, also known as
Thermography.
In recent years Dr. Meri Warbrick has become a
passionate champion for better, more accessible breast
health, and has found that Thermography offers some
interesting advantages in this area.
